Hello everyone, my name is Miles Jacobson, I'm Studio Director at Sports Interactive who
are the development team responsible for the football manager series of games.

I'm here today to tell you a little bit about  Football Manager 2011 which would be out
before Christmas.

今天吃饱饭没事做,来吹吹牛逼,恩,关于在圣诞节前出来的FM11的一些细节。

We are very please to the fact that we've got more new features than even before. And
what I'm going to (teach)? today just go through a few of the new features and we will be
revealing more over the coming months.

你们不知道啊,FM11比之以往更多具有新要素(SI年年都这么说)。从今天开始,

The first thing I'd like to talk about the  Football Manager 2011 is the contract
negotiation system we have in place. We first put agents in the game FM2005 and still
there. But we expanded at a point that a lot more in  Football Manager 2011 and we have
lots of defferent agent types now inside the game.

我要告诉你们的第一个新要素呢就是FM11新的签约系统。
FM05的时候我们就在游戏里加入了经纪人系统,一直到现在,
但是呢,以往的经纪人只有一种模式(而且没啥特色),
FM11,我们尝试在游戏里加入不同的经纪人模式,让游戏更耐玩一些
(比如卡卡的老爹阿内卡的老哥以及那个魔鸟的姘头门德斯?)

Now these agent types negotiate contract in different ways. So you may get some agent
who come to you with comleted blank page for negotiations, you may get others who
may come to you with far too high demands, and or some little bit more sensible. There
are five different types all in all. And we've worked with a bunch of agents and true
executives from inside football to not only come up with the characters themselves and
the types of agent that you have, but also to come up with a host of new contract clauses.
Foe example, you can now offer to give player bonuses  if they make into the team of the
year, you can offer them minimal fee release clauses if a big European club comes in for
them and those kinds of things that's about... a dozen I think is new contract clauses
there.

不同的经纪人模式有不同的合同谈判方式(恩,更现实化了)。
有些经纪人直接甩张空白合同来让你提条件他再慢慢跟你周旋,
有些经纪人狮子大开口,有些经纪人则很现实理智,
加上另外2种不能说的咪咪,一共5种经纪人模式。
而且啊,这些个百分之七先生们,会根据球员的状况、俱乐部的情况(财政和人员?)
改变自己的模式要求对球员的合同作出修改,你也能随时调整合同情况。(这些翻得有点乱)
比如说吧,主帅现在可以给刚签的球员提供进球啊出场费啊之类的奖金,
也可以马上给有豪门相中的球员定下最低解约条款(?这里不是很明白,懵懂翻译了),
诸如此类一大摞新的签约要素

But all sort of way you negotiate is now very different and its not a case of you made an
offer, sent the fax essentially is how the way you use duing the game. In the real world
but not really how it's done is highly done on the phone or face to face sitting in a room
and you negotiated there, and then the player will go away and decide whether he wants
to join after you've come to some kind of agreement on terms. It might be that another
club offer him better terms in the meanwhile and they might come back to you or they
may decide to just take it there and than. But it is all done on conversational basis, which
is some ??? a lot of  games yet.

总之呢,新的签约方式跟以往的是不同的,不再像以前一样,你提供一份合同,像发传真一样扔给那边的球员,
然后等他们按手印就完事了那么简单。就像现实世界里面一样,球员的签约是很让人上火滴,
首先吧你要像偷情一样避开俱乐部跟球员接触面谈,等把筹码都甩出去了,还得等人家球员决定要不要去,
更何况你还有竞争对手,指不定人家就比你多钱呢。
对话才是签约的基础,虽然FM11不能完全模拟这种现实,
但是至少要更真实化一些,你们说是吧。

And now in the game here is a little bit neglected over the last few years is been the
training all sort of things. This is because simply we haven’t got any better ideas of how
we could improve it, but obviously things changed over the last few years, and we have
lots of requests from people to change the way training work. And lots of really good
ideas on our forum as well. So we sat down and look absolutely everything to come up
with the system that the way we are really happy with and we think work very well.

下面谈谈训练的内容。
过去我们一直没对训练方面的内容做大手术。这是因为我们一直没有好的点子去改进它。
但是呢,前两年我们有了许多的人手在这方面下功夫,

于是今年我们就训练的系统做出了改进,我觉得我们做的不错,我个人觉得很高兴。

For a start, we've made it a bit easier for people to use while also being more in depth.
so we've got 14 extra areas you can train players in rough and just having the general
catagory. There are 14 other pre-sets, but we also have a new match preparation section,
which is something that we have never dealt with vert well before. And this allows you to
train your players in specific formations, it also allows you to focus training on a 
particular areas, so for example, if you like me playing the game making a lot of
transfers right at the start of the game, this will actually allow you to try to encourage
your teams to blend together when your preparing for matches.

让玩家们更容易上手,让训练的模块更有深度是首要的。

What a important part of being a football manager is to be able to effectively interact
with your players and your (boot?) as well as being able to play mind games with other
managers. In Football Manager 2011, we have complete rebind in this area. So as well
as lots of extra options of ways you able to interact, we also have private conversations
which is able to use with your own players. There have been far too many times in the
last couple of versions when I have been sat there playing the game, one of my players
just become unhappy and there's been absolutely nothing that I can to do about it. Now
at least there are options for you to be able to discuss with the player. You might not be
able to make them happy again, but at least give you a chances to try.

正所谓屋内红旗不倒,屋外彩旗飘飘啊~~~
FM2011,我们花了200%的功夫改善与球员教练的互动。
所以在新的游戏你们会有更多的互动选择,特别是跟你的球员私下的交媾,啊不,是交流才对。
玩过去的FM游戏,当球员变得郁郁寡欢时我们无法做些什么,只能等他自己心情变好,
但是现在不同了,至少我们会有更多的选项和对话去跟球员交流——虽然你未必能逗得这些个小妞们给你笑一个。

Thers's also more things you can ask the boss about, as an example of that, if you can't
build anymore seats in your stadium because you can't get planning permission, you can
now request a new stadium, you can also ask for a higher percentage of the revenues
that can use for transfers, and??? put your tranfer budgets, and again it's just trying to
get the game feel more immersive.

在新作里,你可以向领导们提出更多的要求了,比如说吧,如果你的球场不能增加座位了,
你可以马上要求建一座新球场(这…这不是早就有了吗…);
又比如说,你可以要求提高收益支出百分比(就是指,收入的钱的百分之几用在转会费上),
也可以要求提高转会预算(这…这不是也早就有了吗…)。
总之,新的游戏会更加引人入胜。

A few years ago we've changed the way the news and inbox worked inside the game. We
basically split the two screens set really one for the other because there's so much news
from around the world coming through inside the game. That worked quite well for what
we're trying to do but unfortunately have the ? that people found that they didn't feel as a
?  inside the game well anymore as they done previously. So what we done this year is
make improvements to the subscriptions area, what you can subscribe to and
unsubscribe to. We merged the news screen and the inbox screen back together as a
whole new look. It's very clear when something need to response to or you can just flip
past something. It also much easier to subscribe and unsubscribe to. You can really
figure the whole world to be the way you wanted to.

几年前我们就改变了游戏中信箱的结构,我们把消息盒子分成2部分,一部分专门用来放世界足坛的络绎不绝的新闻。
这个设计还是不错的,但问题在于,许多玩家觉得他们在游戏中不像以前那样能完整的接受到所有资讯。(听不太清,我猜的)
所以呢,今年我们再次改进了新闻那一板块,把以前分开的世界新闻和信箱重新合并在一块了,并设计的好看了一些,
让你自由掌握是否订阅某些新闻(10的订阅进化版)。
这个设计非常得清晰有条理,你能方便的查阅你想要的所有资讯,世界就掌握在你手中。

There's also an extra module that has been ? this year. To make news even more ?, and
this is something seen thoughout the whole game. What it does is basically looks at all
of possibilities of ? places before and after matches and uses it  inside the news items.

So what's new in the match engine and the match viewer in the  Football Manager 2011
as well as an improved match engine and lots of match improvements for players,
crowds and stadiums, and we also added an motion engine into the game, and you
would be able to see players celebrating and getting upset as well as appealing for

FM11比赛引擎和比赛画面得到了极大的提高(看视频就知道了),
包括球员在场上的动作、观众们的表现,体育场的刻画。
我们在游戏增加了一个运动引擎,让你们通过不同的镜头不同的角度,

The final feature is something that is probably the most requested that we've had on our
forums and for the last twenty years I think since we started making football
management games.

So I'm delighted to be able to reveal the dynamically reputation has finally made into
Sport Interactive titles. This would mean if you take on a club in a less fan seat nation
site, mabye a nation have'nt been done well in the European Competitions in the past,
and you take that club to glory, and you will find the reputation not just a few club but if
??? equal ways. And overtime better players will join you and better players would want
to come playing in your country. And it's very important first to get that right in the game
and we want ever going to allow this feature to happen and so we are happy with the right
is working and now we are.
